The Shepherd’s Kids Preschool and 4K is a non-denominational Christian preschool that believes in supporting each child where they are in their development and learning journey. With a long history of serving families in the Howard-Suamico community, the school is dedicated to creating a nurturing, faith-based environment where children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Who We Are

At The Shepherd’s Kids Preschool, we view each child as a celebrated individual that has been created for a purpose and has innate value in our community and world at large.

In order to support their growth and development, we are committed to providing hands-on experiences, a creative curriculum, and exciting exploration within each classroom setting.

Preschool Class Times:

• Mon/Wed/Fri 8:30-11:00
• Mon/Wed 12:30-3:00
• Tue/Thur 8:30-11:00

Preschool Tuition Prices:

  • M/W/F AM – $175.00 per month
  • M/W PM – $150.00 per month
  • T/Th AM – $150.00 per month

We also offer 4K classes in partnership with the Howard-Suamico School District. Hours are 8:05-11:15 or 12:05-3:15, Monday through Thursday, and are tuition-free.

What We Do

Brain-based Learning

The Shepherd’s Kids strives to provide everything that your child’s brain needs to take in information and retain it. We encourage hands-on learning, authentic exploration, personal creativity, and following their own interests while progressing on their educational journey.

Developmental Playground

The Shepherd’s Kids Preschool understands the importance of developmental milestones and connecting with nature, and as such, purposely designed elements on the fenced in playground to further enhance children’s social and gross motor development. We believe in uneven surfaces, eye-hand/body coordination, core strength, while also giving opportunities to observe nature in its true state.

Structure & routines

The teaching staff at The Shepherd’s Kids have been highly trained in developmentally appropriate practice, the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) and the impatience of setting a consistent schedule, expectations, and routines. If a child knows what to expect each day, they develop not only a feeling of safety, but also learn perseverance, cooperation, and critical thinking skills.

Socialization & Peer Engagement

The Shepherd’s Kids Preschool encourages “Community” within each classroom and the building at large. We enjoy inviting family members in to share their time, culture, and favorite activities. We believe this helps children to take pride in their family experience as well as celebrate our differences.

I absolutely love The Shepherd’s Kids!! Every day that I drop my son off, the staff always has a smile on their face as they are welcoming all the kids at the door. Love That!! Our son Mason is our 4th child and I honestly can say that this has been the best preschool experience ever!!!
